Biography

This award-winning artist was born in Michigan. She attended Parson’s School of Design in New York City, later majoring in art at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Following a move to Greece, she exhibited her plein air and live model watercolor paintings in Thessaloniki. Later in Athens, she studied oil painting with Aristotle Solounias, and exhibited still life oils in Kolonaki.

After 30 years in Greece, where she married and raised a family, she again crossed the sea and settled here in Florida. Today, remarried to her high school sweetheart, she delights in painting local scenes as well as places she loves in Europe. Mary’s work is exhibited at Art & Antique Studio in Melbourne’s Eau Gallie Art District.
