Biography
Rachel is an aerospace engineer of ten years and a lifelong artist. Originally a city girl from Louisville, KY, Rachel is now a fully converted beach lover living on the Space Coast since 2011.
She practices meditation and tries to invoke a sense of peace and simplicity in much of her work. The beach is where she gets the most inspiration, of course; it's where she feels the most grounded to nature and calm. And she never gets tired of Florida's sunsets and sunrises, each one a work of art in itself.
Rachel plays back and forth with a youthful, modern style at times, pulling inspiration from technology (e.g. rocket launches) and social media (bright colors, white space), while other times staying more traditional and timeless, like the ocean.
