Less Pulling, More Perks: Common Beneficial Florida Weeds Seminar

Gardening with nature and embracing true Florida flora has numerous benefits for both you and the planet. To celebrate Earth Day, we’re excited to welcome native plant specialist Skip Healy, owner of Change of Greenery, to take us through the joys of working with certain Florida native plants that we often think of as weeds. Come learn how sustainable landscape techniques can lead to less exhausting weed-pulling, and more perks for your and Mother Earth!
Suggested donation $10. Proceeds will benefit the Florida Native Plant Society and each donor who makes a contribution of $10 or more will receive a $5 gift certificate toward a Florida native plant. If you’re unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution, select the FNPS Contribution Only ticket option.
*Come early and grab a drink! A selection of local craft beers, natural wines, coffee, kombucha, and more will be available for purchase in our Farmers Market! You are welcome to bring drinks from our Farmers Market into this workshop to enjoy. Our Farmers Market will have snacks, produce, fresh bread, additional drinks, and more available for purchase before and after this event for you to Gardening with nature and embracing true Florida flora has numerous benefits for both you and the planet.
