Central Florida Winds welcomes you to their first concert of the season, featuring works by Edward Elgar, William Grant Still, Andrew Boss, Morton Gould, and Francis McBeth. They welcome Rick Collins, principal French Horn player, as the featured soloist in Richard Strauss’ Horn Concerto #1. This is a landmark work for horn and orchestra, transcribed for winds.
