The Harbor City Harmonizers, under the direction of Gretchen Lux, is a men's acapella chorus of the Melbourne Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We perform publicly as a chorus. The Harbor City Harmonizers also has several quartets, as well as the entire chorus, available to perform at various functions in and around Brevard County, both as a community service and for a fee at private gatherings. * Chartered in 1990, with over 50 members and ages typically ranging from 14 to 70+ * The Harmonizers stress musical excellence and enjoy great fellowship and family involvement * Each year the chorus presents an Annual Spring Spectacular Show and a Christmas Sounds of the Season Show * This past year the Harmonizers held both performances at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy entertaining enthusiastic audiences * In 2003 the Harmonizers presented their first Christmas Concert which met with great success. Subsequent Christmas shows have received an even greater audience response. * In District chorus competition the Melbourne Chapter is steadily improving its ranking. * The Melbourne Chapter is a non-profit organization which supports local and national charities.
