BREVARD CULTURAL ALLIANCE HOSTS FREE GRANT WORKSHOP
THAT FOCUSES ON THE HE’ART’ OF THE COMMUNITY

Brevard Cultural Alliance (BCA) in partnership with the State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), is pleased to host an informative art and cultural grant workshop on Wednesday, February 12th at the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts beginning at 10am. The free workshop, a part of the National Endowment for the Arts commitment to support the professional development of a creative workforce, will present attendees with the valuable resources needed to harness funding for their art and cultural activities.

The support of the National Endowment for the Arts to local agencies, like Brevard Cultural Alliance, cannot be underestimated,” stated Kathy Engerran, Deputy Director for Brevard Cultural Alliance. “Beyond their generous support to BCA, direct grants to arts organizations across our community helps advance the creative capacity of Brevard. We thank both the NEA and the State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs for their continued support of our cultural organizations, which enables our museums, arts organizations, and local artists to not only showcase their talents, but ensure our vital community continues to thrive.”

Brevard Cultural Alliance is honored to have long standing relationships with both the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs. The ability to expand the reach and accessibility of art and cultural programming across the county through this year’s workshop aligns with the BCA’s mission to build and sustain a dynamic and vibrant arts and cultural sector integral to Brevard County’s quality of life. Four diverse funding categories will be presented (Arts Projects, Challenge America, Our Town, and Research Awards).
