Description
I have always had a camera, but only started taking photography seriously a few years ago. Most of my adult life has been in either Florida or Texas. I moved back to Florida in 2019 for good. Since then I’ve been snapping lots of pictures. My niche has developed in cloudscapes and beachside scenes. I would also like to expand my work with portrait photography.
I have two children, five grandkids, and one great grandson. All but one live in Texas, north of Dallas. One grandson lives in Ohio. I am retired after a career in television news. At points along the way I was a reporter, Executive Producer, and News Director. I was fortunate to win a Peabody, several Emmys, and a Dallas Press Club award.
Although now retired I work steadily as a freelance travel writer. Along with the photography, it keeps me busy. Someday I’ll slow down, but for now I’m having too much fun.
