Biography
“I always say if you create art, you are an artist.” My name is Maureen Maurer, nick name Mikki, and I love to paint.
My parents, originally from Minnesota, raised me on the Island of Saipan, the mountains of Pakistan, and in the heat of Thailand. I graduated from the International School of Bangkok, attended Winona State University, Minnesota, and finished with a B.S. degree in Art Education.
I relocated to Florida where I taught all age levels. Now retired after forty years, currently reside in Melbourne Beach. I am living the dream.
