ART: After a long career in the creative arts, I finally discovered oil painting in late 2015. Since then, I have developed a style that recalls William Merritt Chase, an American Impressionist, a distant relative and the founder of the Parsons School of Design. In addition, I have developed a powerful, graphic motif for photo decor. As with most artists, I am constantly challenging myself and creatively progressing.
DESIGN: My recent attention is focused on creating an environmental education board game called Lagoonology for middle school students. This project is centered on issues facing the sustainability of the Indian River Lagoon.
PHOTOGRAPHY: I offer individual and group classes in digital photography. As a former contract photographer for Kodak and past president of the Camera Club of Brevard, I bring a unique professional experience to students of all ages.
