Kevin O'Grady has been in the computer hardware and software industry for 26 years. Throughout his career he leveraged his creative spirit in a variety of sales and marketing roles. His interest in photography started 30 years ago with his high school graduation present: his first 35mm SLR camera, a Canon AE-1. Over the past 8 years Kevin has been honing his skills and passion to be a serious fine art photographer. This passion of taking something ordinary and turning into a work of art by finding new ways to capture and present his subjects that are found in the world around us.
Kevin has traveled extensively throughout all of the US, Canada, South America and Europe with his Canon DSLR in-tow. There seems to be a “photo” in everything he experiences. Having grown up in New England (CT, MA, NY, PA and NH), with stops in IL, Texas, GA and FL over his lifetime has provided him with a series of amazing adventures and wondering people along the journey. Kevin often enjoys photographing nature from his kayak allowing him to get up close and personal with wildlife. Many other subjects of his photography includes sports, portraiture, landscapes, candid shots of people and pet portraits.
He continues to learn and explore new techniques in photography, including studio work and becoming proficient with High Dynamic Range photography. In all he does, he strives to create something unique. After continued support and admiration for his work, Kevin has become active in art shows, art festivals, and various art organizations.
