Donna Herring, now residing in Cocoa Beach, was born in Yokosuka Japan and grew up in Northern Virginia and Frankfurt W. Germany, later serving in the Army in Korea and California. She was influenced by a variety of artistic styles in the various locations and explored art in the areas of photography, drawing, watercolor, weaving, jewelry, and more. Her work in the visual arts took a back seat to her career and family although she continued to take snapshots having a true love for photography. Having completed a fulfilling career at Kennedy Space Center, Donna has returned to her love of art. She currently considers herself a recovering artist.
