Biography
Guignet was born in picturesque Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. As a youngster, he always liked to draw, and this carried over into later years when an art instructor friend of his convinced him to enroll in an adult evening class which he taught. This continued for about five years, during which time he became interested in motorcycles, racing, and the club scene. This spawned an interest in photojournalism; which became his primary artistic focus.
Moving to Florida in 1988, Guignet became involved with several national magazines and local publications. He is a freelance writer and photographer for both major and local motorcycle events. Tragedy struck in October of 2001 when he lost his wife of 43 years to cancer. This left a huge void in his life which he has tried to fill by getting back into painting, as well as his ongoing photojournalism work.
