Biography
As a kid, I spent lots of time hanging out among the coquina reefs along Satellite Beach, enamored by the treasures tucked in the shoreline. Wandering along the beachside gave me a curiosity for the many overlooked shells and views we are spoiled with here along the Space Coast. I'm committed to sharing the visual history of Old Florida, and the things that make this part of Brevard County so special. As a result, I'm constantly looking for the little things most people don't slow down long enough to see. And, when I find something new, I love to share it in written word or on canvas.
Married life took me around the world as a military wife. A love for travel and God's creation gave our family some amazing experiences, and memories I hope to capture in my expressions in art. All the sweet memories provide a bounty of inspiration for my current acrylic painting projects.
I've had a variety of artistic experiences, from basket weaving, to painting and restoring furniture, to paper crafts, to watercolor painting and acrylic painting. The mode of creativity may change, but my heart remains the same....to bring joy to the viewer and provide an outlet for the expressions of my heart.
