Biography
We are bombarded by visual stimuli all day long; the trick is to discover the parts and pieces that speak to us and then to create something that satisfies our vision. My careers in commercial art, graphic design, printing, art direction, photography and finally as a visual artist attest to this quote from PBS journalist Bill Moyers: “ Creativity is piercing the mundane to find the marvelous.” It is indeed a marvelous journey.
With a catalog exceeding 300,000 photographs, I am currently repurposing selected original photographs into graphic designs intended for contemporary wall decor. I take great pleasure in pouring over photographs, revisiting people, cultures and places in search of my next digital painting project.
