Let’s be honest: there is plenty to worry about these days. But who says we can’t trade that anxiety for a little musical mayhem? This April 1st and 2nd, the Melbourne Municipal Band invites you to a concert guaranteed to cure what ails you. We’re throwing the rulebook out the window for a performance that is equal parts spectacular and zany!
From the frantic energy of “The Simpsons” to the smooth, iconic sounds of Mancini’s “It Had Better Be Tonight,” we are covering the full spectrum of fun. Our program is a rollercoaster…Feel the thrill of the big top with “In the Center Ring,” and “Clown Act.” Journey to Agrabah with the hits from Disney’s Aladdin. Enjoy moments of pure whimsy with slide whistles, high-energy polkas, and a tribute to the glitz of Hollywood.
