Rock & Roll Revue dinner-and-a-show
Dinner and a show for $25 is a sweet deal, but it’s even sweeter when Melbourne Municipal Band’s Rock & Roll Revue rocks the house for a good cause.
The eight-piece ensemble, complete with a male vocalist and a Doo-Wop trio, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 29, during a dinner show that benefits Martin Andersen Senior Center in Rockledge. Founded in 1983, the Senior Center provides older area residents with essential resources and opportunities for social connections
Attendees will enjoy a lasagna and salad dinner followed by classic dance tunes courtesy of the revue.
“The audience can expect music from the ’50’, 60’s & 70’s by several of their favorite artists for their dancing and listening pleasure,” said Rock & Roll Revue conductor Art Martin.
Joining the musicians and vocalist Jeremy Lundquist will be the Swingtimers Vocal Trio of Connie Maltby, Diana Sageser and Dave Hutson.
Tickets for dinner and the show are available at the Martin Andersen Senior Center, 1025 Florida Ave., Rockledge. For more information, call 321-631-7549.
