Synopsis: This Tony Award®–winning Best Musical, score by Maury Yeston and book by Arthur Kopit, is based on the groundbreaking Italian film 8½. Nine follows famed director Guido Contini, suffering from both “director’s block” on his latest film and from a strained marriage to the neglected Luisa, as he retreats into his mind, where women from his past and present bombard his senses and throw reality into question.
