Introduction to Stained Glass with Jamille Haddad

The Studios of Cocoa Beach is hosting a 3 session “Introduction to Stained Glass” Class beginning on Wednesday August 11, 2021, from 6 to 9 pm.

Jamille Haddad is the instructor. Jamille has been designing and producing stained glass and fused glass art in the central Florida area for over 40 years. Jamille will take you through the entire process of creating a stained-glass work of art! ” I strive for beautiful craftsmanship while pushing the material to its limits in creating art to enhance our living and working environments.”

The first week will focus on glass-cutting techniques, choosing design and selecting colors. Week Two will involve cutting the glass for the project, and includes an introduction to the copper foil technique. During the third week, students will finish cutting and foiling their projects, and prepare for soldering.

Fee for the class is $150 plus a $50 supply fee which covers all necessary materials.  Students should wear closed toe shoes and safety glasses.
