Immersive Watercolor Class in March

The Studios of Cocoa Beach continues its popular watercolor classes with an Immersive Watercolor Workshop.  The class meets every Tuesday and Thursday in March from 1 to 3:30 pm for eight sessions, March  2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, & 28.

If you’re here for a month getaway, or looking to explore the world of watercolors in depth. this is the workshop for you. Whether you’re just starting out, looking for a refresher course or want to be part of a painting group, join Jan for these 8 classes. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned some great techniques and completed 5 paintings, including one of your own subject choice. ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED!!!

The class begins by exploring the basics of paints, papers and brushes then covers Masking and Layout; Techniques Painting Techniques, Watercolor Pencils; and Water Ink Painting. Those missing a class, will be able to do a make-up class.

Instructor Jan Bryant is an award winning artist with many one man shows to her credit.  She works in watercolors, acrylics, ink and pastels.  She has taught at the college level in Kentucky and Ohio and locally at Central Brevard Art Association.  She loves teaching and sharing her expertise with everyone.
