How to Mat and Frame Your Artwork

The cost of custom matting and framing art is often more than the value of the artwork. Jaymee Weinreich will conduct a workshop on “How to Mat and Frame Your Artwork“ at the Studios of Cocoa Beach on Tuesday, November 14 from 5 to 7 pm.

Jaymee will discuss how you can save by learning to mat and frame artwork, what to buy, and how costs can be minimized by buying matting supplies wholesale. She will demonstrate the process of measuring and cutting mats for works on paper followed by framing the matted works. A discussion/demonstration on framing works on canvas will follow.

Weinreich has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Florida International University and has been a professional artist for over twenty-five years. She has the experience of teaching art and doing art in a number of mediums. She believes there is an artist in everyone.

Fee for the class is $45.
