Elementary Art

Welcome to our Intro to Sewing class! This class is great for beginners or a refresher course! Our Intro to sewing is designed to be an introduction on how to use a sewing machine. Learn basic sewing skills and basic sewing terminologies.

This 16 week art class introduces students to the elements of art and principles of design through drawing, painting, and mixed media projects. Lessons build on each other as the semester progresses, helping students develop skills and confidence over time.

Students will explore concepts such as line, shape, pattern, color, contrast, and emphasis while creating fun projects and learning how artists use these ideas in their artwork. Projects gradually become more advanced as students gain experience.

Students may enroll for the full 16 week semester or sign up monthly. Maximum of 12 students.
