Beautiful Florida Art Exhibition

The Studios of Cocoa Beach starts the new year with “Beautiful Florida,” an exhibition of art by three artists: Jacquilyn Eusanio, Carolyn Wyles and Phyllis Devericks.  All three women are inspired by their Florida surroundings . Each is captivated by different aspects of the environment and approaches their subject differently.

Jacquilyn creates mixed media art on large canvases and loves using bright Florida colors of red, yellow and orange.  Carol, a watercolor artist, paints more realistic close ups of flowers, birds and more. She loves the blues and greens of the ocean but also the soft pastels found in our environment. Phyllis, like Jacquilyn, paints abstract works on large canvas. She favors the blues and greens of Florida skies and waters. Phyllis uses color to convey her feelings for a subject and the colors result resulting in a calming and pleasant effect.

The exhibition runs from January 3 to January 30. The Studios of Cocoa Beach is located at 165 Minutemen Causeway, in downtown Cocoa Beach. Gallery hours are Monday 9 am to 2 pm, Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and Sunday 1 pm to 6 pm.
