“No Strings Attached” School Supplies Drive

It’s almost time for kids to go back to school and we’re hosting a “no strings attached” school supplies drive.

When you can’t make ends meet, you often find there’s a cost to accepting help. Whether it’s lots of paperwork or needing membership in a specific group. Even nonprofits, like us, must show funders the impact of our services through data.

But one of the best things about a community — and specifically community fundraising — is that it has the potential to be “no strings attached.” No prerequisites other than “I have a need.”

This year, we’re reaching out to community members, like you, to ask if you’ll help us support local families get their kids ready for school. School supplies can be very expensive, and we want to support all families in need. No strings attached.

So, if you can give some new and unused supplies to our drive, we’d be most grateful. Don’t know what to buy? Maybe think of your favorite things as a kid and start there. Did you love color-coding with highlighters? Prefer college ruled paper over wide? What brings a smile to your face?
