Biography

Arthur C. Blatch III unites realism and spirituality in his Colorful interpretation of the World around us. A favorite subject is African-American culture, to which he brings an evocative and heartfelt vision. The breadth of Blatch’s artistic range is startling, from Poster-like designs depicting the African-American heritage to more, realistic images of everyday life. He also explores in more figurative pieces the deeply spiritual underpinnings of American culture. A graphic artist who had worked at NASA’s Kennedy 
Space Center for over 25 years, Blatch also has created 
images of America’s space program that explore the spiritual aspect of Humankind’s quest to explore beyond Earth’s boundaries.

His portfolio also includes floral and landscapes, as well as other ethnic arts, including Asian and Native American pieces. Blatch’s mediums include pen and ink; pencil; airbrush; acrylic and prismacolor to create and accentuate his images. He 
coordinates and monitors the printing of all reproductions of his works to assure quality. His award-winning creations have been exhibited at numerous national shows and more than 1,200 art galleries.
