Sunday, March 28, 2021 | 5:30pm
Prior to the virtual Midori recital on April 11, 2021, there will be a live “Talking Program Notes” event with Midori on Sunday, March 28th at 5:30pm. This will be an interactive event with Midori talking about the works she will be performing on the recital. Both events are free to all but registration is required. Visit http://www.melbournechambermusicsociety.org to register.
Melbourne Chamber Music Society will present a free virtual recital by renowned violinist Midori. Her collaborator on piano will be Ieva Jokubaviciute. Both artists have appeared for MCMS in the past; Midori in a recital provided by her foundation, Partners in Performance, played in 2012 and Ieva played with violinist Hye-Jin Kim in 2016. They are thrilled that they will again be joining them albeit virtually!
The recital will take place Sunday, April 11th at 4pm and will be followed by a live Q+A session with Midori.
Although there is no fee for these events your donations are always greatly appreciated and will be put to good use furthering the advancement of chamber music in our community!
