Meet the Museums of Brevard (MOB) Event
The public is invited to “Meet the MOB,” the Museums of Brevard, on Sunday, March 20th from 1-4pm at the Veterans Memorial Center on Merritt Island.
Join representatives from the non-profit MOB members that include historic homes, nature centers, and aviation, law enforcement and space museums. Together the MOB represents the unique heritage of Brevard County for residents to enjoy.
The MOB members include: Air Force Space & Missile Museum, Cape Canaveral; American Police Hall of Fame & Museum, Titusville; American Space Museum, Titusville; Brevard Museum of History & Natural Science, Cocoa; Cape Canaveral Light House; Field Manor, Merritt Island; Florida Surf Museum, Cocoa Beach; Green Gables, Melbourne; Lawndale Historical Home, Rockledge; Liberty Bell Memorial Museum, Melbourne; Library of Florida History, Cocoa; Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge; Moore Cultural Center & Museum, Mims; Museum of Dinosaurs & Ancient Cultures, Cocoa Beach; Pritchard House, Titusville; Rossetter House Museum, Melbourne; Sams House, Merritt Island; Sands Space History Center, Cape Canaveral; Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, Titusville; and Veterans Memorial Center, Merritt Island.
The event is free and open to the public. The museum will be open for guests to view the extensive collection of military artifacts.
