The spooky concert lineup planned for Ghoulies & Ghosties includes favorites many concertgoers will recognize from stage and screen, including selections from Phantom of the Opera. The iconic film, Lord of the Rings will also be well represented, with West Shore Jr/Sr High School 7th-grade student Paxton Barefield singing the closing section. The orchestra’s trumpet section will be featured in Leroy Anderson’s ghostly march, the “Phantom Regiment,” and the strings will get a workout during the New England fiddle tune, “Devil’s Dream.” More eerie compositions await the bravest audience members. Admission to the concert is free, with no tickets required. Some members of the orchestra will be attired in their Halloween best, and the audience is likewise invited to dress in costume.
