DESCRIPTION:Guests have the option of selecting a self guided stroll thru the museum or a guided tour by knowledgeable docents dressed in period costume. Both options present the life and times in Brevard County during the late 1800’s.\nWe are located within the historic district of Rockledge. Our museum consists of more than an acre of property, nearly 4,000 square feet of living space, a carriage house and a wonderful water front view that will take you back to a peaceful time in the late 1800’s. The tour includes the first and second floor of the home and requires the guests to use stairways. For those who aren’t able or choose not to use the stairway, a series of storyboards can be used to virtually share information regarding the Lawndale history.\n\nThe museum is open for tours on Saturdays from 10am until 3pm.\nThe location is 1219 Rockledge Drive, Rockledge FL 32955\nAdmission – $10\nNo reservation required.\n\nIf Saturday doesn’t fit your schedule, we are also available for private or group tours, please contact us at FriendsOfLawndale@gmail.com ( https://friendsoflawndale.com/tours/FriendsOfLawndale@gmail.com ) or (321) 632-5650.\n
