Art has the power to move us, tell our stories, and bring people together. This special day is a reminder that creativity belongs to everyone.\n\n\n\nTo honor the spirit of the day, Downtown Art Gallery will host a free, lively, family-friendly celebration featuring:\n\n\n\n· Live art demonstrations by local artists, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at how art comes to life\n\n\n\n· A musical instrument “petting zoo,” where children and adults can see, touch, and try a variety of instruments in a relaxed, welcoming setting.\n\n\n\n· Hands-on art projects open to all ages, encouraging visitors to create their own piece of art and experience the joy of making something from the heart.\n\n\n\n“This day is about removing the intimidation factor from art,” says Downtown Art Gallery owner Heidi Thamert. “You don’t have to be an artist to be inspired by art.
