Member artist/photographer John Buck will conduct a class for all skill levels that will demonstrate how a professionalphotographer captures images as art. This course will teach you how to assess light, create interestingcompositions and become more confident and creative in your photography by understanding yourexposure controls.THE COURSE: “Seeing is Believing”WHEN: Saturday, January 10DURATION: 10am-12pmWHERE: Meet at Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, 1470 Highland Avenue, Eau GallieEQUIPMENT: Camera, lenses, batteries, hat, water, no tripodFEE: $75 per personCLASS: Minimum of six studentsDESCRIPTION: Students will meet at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery for a brief introduction and review ofcamera gear. Smartphones acceptable. The main instruction will include a 2 hour “photo walk” aroundEau Gallie and a personal review and critique of your images.INSTRUCTOR: John Buck is an award winning professional graphic designer, art director andphotographer. He has taught design and photography at the university level and has conducted photoclasses for individuals and groups for 10 years. He is a member at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery and is thepresident of the Camera Club of Brevard. For ten years he traveled the world as Kodak’s main contracttravel photographer.\n
