DESCRIPTION:\nIf it’s January in Cocoa Beach, it can mean only one thing: music at Riverside Presbyterian Church! The church will welcome the New Year by Rockin’ at Riverside, a free concert at 3:30 PM on Sunday, January 12 at 3400 N. Atlantic Avenue (A1A). Rockin’ at Riverside will feature the Rock-n-Roll Revue, known for its broad repertoire from the 50s, 60s and 70s, under the direction of conductor Art Martin. Popular vocalist Tony Schillizzi will croon some of the songs of yesteryear, while the Swingtimers Trio of Robin Krasny, Diana Sageser and Dave Hutson will perform in the tight harmony style of the era. The audience can expect to hear time-honored favorites, like “Chantilly Lace,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Penny Lane,” “Mustang Sally,” “Rock Around the Clock,” “Downtown,” “Wipe Out” and many more. Riverside Presbyterian Church in Cocoa Beach presents free Sunday concerts as part of the Dr. Vernon Boushell concert series, a musical legacy dedicated to uplifting the people of Brevard.
