Raised in Louisiana, he was influenced by legends like Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray Vaughan. His early exposure led to a recording deal and the creation of hits like “Blue On Black.” Shepherd’s collaborations with blues greats and his solo projects, including work with supergroup The Rides, highlight his commitment to honoring blues traditions while pushing musical boundaries.
