The 127-year-old historic home remains “Melbourne’s Bridge to the Past”. The Wells family vision and generosity brought many firsts to the area for Melbourne. They gifted the area with Wells Park, the first auditorium, the first library, establishing the first high school, and many more community projects, all of which have been enjoyed by several generations. We invite you to come and visit Green Gables and learn more about the architecture, the family, and with your help, our plans for the future of Green Gables.\n \n
