DESCRIPTION:\nWednesday & Thursday, January 31st & February 1st at 7:00 p.m. Pre-Concert starts at 6:15 p.m. with MCO’s Small Ensembles\n\n\n\nJoin MCO for our highly anticipated Conductor’s Choice Concert Series. Audience members will have the chance to see inside our great conductor’s mind and learn what makes a Maestro really tick because this annual program features Maestro Mark Nelson’s favorite classical pieces of all time. This year, the orchestra will be performing Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Marquez’s Danzon No. 2, which is currently the most in demand orchestral work in the world, and our very own Principal Trombonist Joseph Ash will be performing the David Trombone Concerto. We will finish out the evening with Mussorgsky’s most famous work, Pictures at an Exhibition.\n\n\n\nFree\n
