SUMMARY:Waves, Rocks, Clouds: Watecolor Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Studios of Cocoa Beach is hosting a four session watercolor workshop which concentrates on four subject areas “Clouds, Trees, Waves and Rocks. The class meets on Tuesdays, 1 to 3 pm, beginning January 9, 2024\nThe goal is not to complete a painting, but to work on various techniques to accomplish specific areas. One class will focus on skies and clouds, encompassing clear blue skies, dark foreboding skies and sunsets. The second week participants will work on their tree skills. The third class will explore several treatments for water, including oceans and waves. The final class will cover the beach, and and rocks.\nJan Bryant is an award winning artist with many one man shows to her credit.  She works in watercolors, acrylics, ink and pastels. An experience instructor, Jan has taught at the college level, locally, and she leads workshops with seniors and caregivers at the Health First Center for Family Caregivers.  She loves teaching and sharing her expertise with everyone. If you have been waiting to explore watercolor painting, here is your chance to work with a great teacher.\nThe class meets on January 9, 16, 23, and 30. .  Makeup class is available if you miss one class. The fee is $185 which includes all materials. Register at the Studios’ website www.studuiosofcocoabeach.org.\nThe Studios is located at 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach.  This non-profit gallery is open Monday 9 am to 2 pm, Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and Sundays 1 pm to 6 pm.
