DESCRIPTION:Central Florida Winds presents…\nCentral Florida Winds opens its 2023 to 2024 season concert with Colors of Fall a wonderfully colorful and exciting concert! The signature piece of the concert is Colors, by Bert Appermont, and features our lead trombonist, Ian Schwindt, band director for Titusville High School. The concert continues with a rousing Zampa Overture by Ferdinand Hérold, Haydn Wood’s sweeping Mannin Veen, the very Latin and fun Danza No.2 by Arturo Márquez that will have you swaying in your seats, a light & lively Handel in the Strand by Percy Grainger, and Glory of the Yankee Navy by America’s March King, John Philip Sousa, who composed this piece for a Broadway musical.
