Mark Your Calendars for Upcoming 2017 Workshops

1013-josh-field-9685-edit-2On Friday, January 20, BCA presents The Art of Branding: Taking Your Business to Center Stage with Josh Field. Both organizations and individuals will find this workshop useful. Josh is a seasoned and  accomplished strategic marketer, branding expert and communications specialist. Josh recently joined the executive team of Parrish Medical Center, where he oversees corporate branding and marketing strategy for the growing community healthcare system.

The Art of Branding workshop will focus on:

*  What’s a brand?

*  How to create a “sticky” brand

*  Marketing tips for small business

Date & Time:   Friday, January 20, 2017 starting at 3:30pm

Location  Government Center, Building C, Space Coast Room, 2nd Floor

Cost:   $10 for BCA members; $20 for non-members.

*  On Friday, February 24, staff from Orlando Repertory Theatre will present a workshop on audience development – one you surely won’t want to miss!

Special pricing to attend both January & February workshops: $15 for BCA members; $30 for non-members

Brevard Cultural Alliance to begin 13 Next Generation & STEAM In-School Artist Residencies

In partnership with Brevard Schools Foundation, and with funding from the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, Brevard Cultural Alliance is presenting 13 Next Generation & STEAM in-school artist residencies during the current school year.

The 13 participating schools, along with residency artist and type of residency, are:

Bayside High: Mary Moon / mosaics 

DeLaura Middle School: Betsy Heath  / mosaics

Hoover Middle School: Mary Moon / mosaics

Longleaf Elementary: Hassan Patterson / illustration/animation

McNair Middle School: Betsy Heath / digital art & mosaics

Melbourne High: Kyle Knappenberger / choral instruction

Oak Park Elementary: Kathleen Smith / 3-D modeling

Palm Bay Elementary: Chance 2 Dance / dance instruction                          

Pinewood Elementary: Orisirisi African Folklore

Port Malabar Elementary: Orisirisi African Folklore

Roosevelt Elementary: Linda Noble / ceramics

Viera High School: Vashti Verschoor / visual arts

Westside Elementary: Mary Moon / mosaics
