Bobbi Q Brown

Art Specialty: Visual Art, Watercolor

I began my career in California as a commercial artist, including several years in computer art. After 10 years I made the leap to pursue my dream of a career as a fine artist. I have designed and painted jewelry, clothing and furniture; illustrated children's books; worked in interior design and as a muralist.

My passion is watercolor. I love painting with the medium and I love teaching it. It gives me immense pleasure to inspire my students and help them discover their own unique style.

I am largely known for my colorful marine life paintings, particularly manatees and sea turtles. I am an avid wildlife advocate. I belong to the Sea Turtle Preservation Society and Save the Manatees and have adopted a manatee and a sea turtle hatchling.

I have been fortunate enough to have my artwork used on several magazine covers. My work has won awards in California and Florida and appears in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Professional organizations to which I belong include the Central Brevard Art Association, Brevard Watercolor Society, Brevard Cultural Alliance and the Florida Watercolor Society.

I am one of the founding members of the Art Gallery of Viera and am also represented by Sand and Sea Gallery in Cocoa Village. My artwork and class schedule can be viewed on my website, www.bobbiqbrown.com.
