Mary Williams - The Merry Puppeteer_ Performing under various stage names as The Merry Puppeteer, The Merry Magician, and Dot the Clown, Mary Williams has been a dynamic and successful children's entertainer, writer and producer since 1988. Mary has performed on stage, video and in schoolrooms throughout Central Florida utilizing puppetry, magic, music, workshops and clowning skills to entertain and educate children. Since 2003, she has been under an entertainment contract with Wendy's restaurants in Brevard County. Most recently, she was engaged by Very Special Arts to perform and teach puppetry to exceptional education students throughout Brevard County. Mary's background includes twenty years with MicheLee Puppets, Inc., a professional puppetry company in Orlando. She has performed at Universal Studios, in twenty five Florida counties, Georgia, and in various commercial and promotional videos. She has produced and written various puppet shows, done voice-overs for video productions, and conducted many workshops for teachers and students at the elementary, high school and college level. Mary specializes in hand, and hand & rod puppetry. She loves teaching puppetry, where she can instill her enthusiasm for puppetry in students and teachers, as well as her audience. She performs for all ages; in multiple venues - live shows, schools, churches, corporate events, commercials, videos, television - you name it! Puppets are magical! They make imaginations soar, eyes light up, and enhance comprehension. Puppetry makes education fun!
