Wallace Berger

Art Specialty: Visual Art, Mixed Media, Sculptor

Wallace G. Berger PhD. -- Art Bio --Wally has been an active artist for the last 3 years, creating his work in Melbourne, FL and Saratoga Springs, NY.His work reflects his university, government, and private industry work experience in American Indian culture, the physical sciences, and the environment. He creates 2 and 3 dimensional wall hangings - commonly from 4 square feet to 9 square feet in size. His work blends cubist, impressionist, and realist elements. His medium is exotic and native woods and some of his creations incorporate natural elements such as rocks, branches, and shells. Each work usually combine the natural grains, colors, and textures of 7 or more woods and is finished with a natural wood frame. All of his art is hand worked and all the woods are left in their natural untreated state, only natural oils are used.He produces original art works and will do commissioned work. He maintains a large inventory of completed works at his Melbourne, FL home. You can phone him at 703.655.5996 to view his work or to request digital images. His works were selected for display at the Brevard Art Museum as part of their 2007 juried competition.
