About The Artist

Bruce Reigle is an artist living in Merritt Island, Fl., a Florida resident since 1986. Bruce is a self taught wood worker and artist who enjoys painting tropical scenes of favorite local areas , places in Hawaii he has been to, and client’s  favorite vacation places from their own photo.

He started his artistic hobby 12 years ago doing all types of custom wood working, from jewelry boxes to furniture and bowls turned from local, downed ,tree logs. Two years ago his wood working took a back burner when he took an interest in acrylic painting.  Bruce enjoys painting tropical and sea scapes with acrylic paints in his home studio from photos he takes, but still visits his work shop for an occasional wood project or to make his own custom frames.

Recently Bruce sold many paintings while enjoying a few weekends at the “Art of Sands “ festival in Port Canaveral hosted by the “Brevard Cultural Alliance”.   His paintings of the Cocoa Beach Pier can  be purchased in the Pier gift shop.  One special “Pier” painting can be seen on display  in Marlins restaurant. All paintings sold are original paintings on  canvas.  No prints are made.
