I was a Navy brat who grew up in base housing, filled with archived memories. Our music was recorded on reel-to-reel tapes, and snapshots of our lives were stored in albums of sticky plastic pages. I learned that through photography, I could save, and savor, memories.
Decades later, I'm still taking photographs. My camera is a time machine, capturing my point of view, a single slice at a time. Some images are presented in high fidelity, with no processing at all, sharing my memories. Others have been touched to help convey how I felt at the time, or how I wanted to feel. Some are happy, some whimsical, and some sad. I hope that these images, these thin slices of my life, will help you see what I saw and feel what I felt.
It's my hope that when you view them, you love the light.
