DOROTHY E. KOLIBA

WATERCOLOR & ACRYLIC PAINTINGS, MURALS

Dorothy has been painting for over 30yrs.  Born in the Detroit area of MI she started by painting oils on canvas and later changed to watercolors & acrylic on canvas or wall murals.  She now resides mostly in West Melb, FL and a few months in the summer in Brighton, MI.

She has belonged to many art clubs serving them as President, vise president, bookkeeper and program chair person.  Dorothy now promotes international artist workshops in Milford, MI

She has shown her art work in art galleries, art shows and outdoor art fairs for over 20yrs one of which is the largest juried art fair in the world in Ann Arbor, MI   And has won many awards. She has taught art at St. Mary's high school, Orchard Lk, MI,  at art shops and in her studio for many yrs.  Has demonstrated at art clubs and has juried art shows.

"I love to paint and hope it shows in my work. I enjoy doing commissions for clients who have a photo they want me to paint

or a mural on their wall.  It's all about the color for me, that is usually what attracts me the scene I will paint next"
