Who are we?
We are a group of twelve from varying backgrounds with one thing in common: we LOVE to play with fiber! We began our group in the summer of 2003 as the Dirty Dozen Art Quilters, and we continue to tap into our inner artist and increase our general interest in the visual arts. Our monthly meetings include inspiring show and tell, which helps to keep us motivated. Each year, we hang a display of our work, which always features a group challenge. This exhibit has encouraged, at least in part, the forming of two new fiber arts groups in our area. We agree that our success is dependent on two criteria: commitment and enthusiasm. We have varying styles and strengths from abstract to surface design to 3-D, but the one thing that is never lacking: creativity.
