Central Florida Winds draws on talent from professional players, retired professional musicians, talented music teachers, and the elite ranks of high school and college students. The geographic footprint of Central Florida Winds and Chamber Winds (which began in the fall of 2001) includes all of Brevard County, North to Deland, South to Port St. Lucie, and West to Lakeland.

We have enjoyed the talent of many soloists and conductors alike, including Dr. Bobby Adams of Stetson University (conductor), James Bishop of Brevard Community College (conductor and alto saxophone soloist), Anita Juiliana (English Horn, Brevard Symphony Orchestra), Lyman Brodie (principal trumpet of the Orlando Philharmonic and the Dallas Wind Symphony), and Thomas Waid (tuba soloist of CFW and retired principal tuba player of The Army Band).
