The Brevard Children's Chorus is now in its third year of performing. The chorus offers a unique musical and educational experience in a group setting. Members are selected by audition, and rehearse and perform from September through May.

A treble chorus of children in the fifth to eighth grades, children from all over Brevard County are welcome to audition. The chorus performs throughout the year at various venues.The Brevard Children's Chorus is directed by Sharon Maslin, Choral Director at Space Coast JR/SR High, Co-directed by Joani Slawson, Music Educator, Saturn Elementary School in Cocoa, and accompanied by Theresa Stricker, Music Educator, Tropical Elementary School.

The Brevard Children’s Chorus exists to teach children to achieve high artistic standards through choral singing and performance. An equally important aspect of the Chorus is the nurturing and growth of discipline, responsibility, teamwork and self-confidence. We expect to achieve this goal and will strive to make Brevard Children’s Chorus one of the finest children’s programs to benefit each child for a lifetime.
