Surfside Players is Brevard County's only beachside community theatre, dedicated to the performing arts through productions, presentations, education and outreach.  We have been producing plays every year since 1959, and have a beautiful 270-seat theatre in the middle of the residential areas of Cocoa Beach, Florida.  Each season from September to June includes:

- Five mainstage plays, including two musicals, with auditions and volunteering open to everyone

- Youth Players acting and stagecraft classes in the fall, spring and summer, for grades 2 - 8, culminating in an original play or musical

- An annual screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, with shadowcast

- An annual Playwriting Contest for Brevard County authors, with submissions in March for a World Premiere in June

- Plus a number of Special Events

We love welcoming new members into the community.  You don't need any experience to become a volunteer (we train you), and everyone is invited to audition for the chance to be on stage for the very first time.

From the mainland, take SR-520 or SR-528 East to A1A South; or, take Pineda, Eau Gallie, or US-192 East to A1A North.  Follow A1A into Cocoa Beach, and turn west on Fifth Street South.
