Biography

Multi media artist and musician Background Mom and Dad that loved music of many types, we all got various instruments. My favorite was flute which I still actively play today. added many percussion instruments. We always had art supplies and my love of art started then. Pass the periwinkle crayon please! I have been a visual artist since young childhood. Had a wondrous teacher of art in HS Mrs. McKeathan & was in the band at school, thanks Mr. Crumpler. Attended Georgia Tech school of Architecture. Worked my way through GT drafting at various international architectural and engineering firms in Atlanta such as Cooper Carey, Rosser Fabrap and Laubmann Reed Architects who eventually created the GIS system.

Moving to Florida in 85 worked in Orlando at Cuhaci and Peterson Architects, Orlando then EG&G at Kennedy Space Center working in the Facilites Dept. and BRPH Architects. Worked at Brevard Community College part time adjunct teaching architectural drafting by hand and then finally 3D modeling. I taught 21 years, creating all my own course material. I love teaching, helping people realize their potential and attain goals.worked from home (1992) on strictly residential drafting for homeowners while continuing at teaching at BCC till 2010. Now to teach art and music and pass on this passion to others. Music and art are healing arts that all our souls need. I believe while we do these things our heart has wings. Learning while teaching others is an added benefit as we reconnect with our inner child or original un-storied spirit self.

I can teach Various medias such as watercolors, pencil sketching and acrylic multi media, making things from natural objects from nature like wreaths etc., murals, fused glass art and music with flute and percussion instruments. Using a broad intuitive approach to reach many brain types. Creative Approach to art and music We all have a special gift inside to offer the world. I believe it is released through music & art. After a serious illness in 2010 I regained my health through returning to art, music and meditation. Connecting with my higher self brings new dimensions to the arts and relationships creating more sharing ability. Nature is where I draw my greatest inspiration.An avid environmentalist who also believes in abundance. The thoughtful and careful usage of the earth's bounty means it can always take care of all of us. We work towards these solutions daily in our personal life and through groups like EDF, Sierra Club, MRC, Habitat for Humanity , Cousteau Society have peaceful agendas
