Artist Statement I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I call my painting style Romantic Impressionism. I like to show the many travels I have experienced and the joy of social gatherings, whether it be a cafe on the Champs-Élysées or a formal dinner setting. Dancing is also a favorite subject of mine. Lately, I have been inspired to explore different media, specifically mixed-media masks, meant to be displayed not worn. I have completed masks that uniquely depict the energy and ethos of the zodiac, as well as masks that capture other subjects and themes. I create every day to maintain a healthy inventory of my work. Enclosed are samples and you can see more on my website, fouquetgallery.com, or by request. Thank you for considering my work for your gallery.
