Biography
McCaughin was raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Growing up he spent most of my time at the beach or the Banana River, which provided the setting for many a wonderful adventure and an early and intimate appreciation of the surrounding environment. After high school years he spent a lot of time traveling on surfing safaris, sailing the Bahamas and living on a sailboat in Islamorada, Florida Keys. Eventually he returned home to settle down to a more traditional family life with his wife, raising two boys, now grown and on their own. He currently resides in Satellite Beach and still enjoys spending time at the beach and river.
